Cultural Heritage Young Leadership Scheme

Government has launched the Cultural Heritage Young Leadership scheme with the aim to promote cultural awareness among school children and to develop a love for India 's rich cultural heritage.

Launching the Cultural Heritage Young Leadership scheme in New Delhi on 19^th Nov, Union Minister for culture Kumari Selja said that the focus of this Cultural Heritage Young Leadership scheme scheme is on the less-privileged children residing in backward areas through regional languages as a medium of communication.

The Minister, who also launched India Heritage week, said that the Cultural Heritage Young Leadership scheme will broadly consist of distribution of existing audio-visual material related to culture among school children besides production of such material.
