111th Birth Anniversary Of Martyr Ashfaqulla Khan Observed

The 111th birth anniversary of freedom fighter and revolutionary martyr Ashfaqulla Khan is being observed on 22^nd oct. Shaheed Ashfaqulla Khan was born on 22nd October 1900 in Shahjhanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. One of the main functions was held at Chandrasekhar Azad Park in Allahabad.

Several political leaders and social activists paid their homage to the great revolutionary leader for his supreme sacrifice. School children presented cultural programmes to mark his birth anniversary.

Ashfaqulla Khan was charged for the Kakori train dacoity and was held guilty with several other revolutionary freedom fighters. Later he was hanged to death in Faizabad jail.
