Six Jawans Killed In Naxal Attack In Bastar

In Chhattisgarh, six jawans including an officer of state police were killed and three others were injured in the ambush set up by naxals near Netanar village in Darbha police station area of Bastar district on 21st oct 2011.

According to reports, the police were heading for the village after receiving report that naxals had vandalised a guest house of the Forest Department there on 20th oct  night.

When the police team was on the way back, naxals triggered a landmine explosion and opened fire.
