Govt To Give Vocational Training To Fifty Crore People By 2022

Government today said that it has set the target to give vocational training to fifty crore people by 2022. Addressing a seminar on Vocational Training in New Delhi, Director General of Employment and Training under Ministry of Labour, Mr. Sharda Prasad said that many provisions are being made in 12th Five year plan to achieve the target. 

He added that government has prepared a multipronged strategy to impart vocational Training skills among the youth. Mr. Prasad also said that experts in the vocational training must reach in backward areas of the states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajathan and Orissa.
