Govt To Provide Financial Aid For Book Fairs

Union Ministry of Culture has announced a pilot Scheme of Financial Assistance for Book Fairs, Book Exhibitions and participation in International Book Fairs and publishing events. According to an official release, the main objective of the scheme is to popularise Indian culture by promoting quality books. 
Applications under the scheme can be made round the year. The details of the Scheme and the application form are available on the website of the Ministry-www.indiaculture.gov.in.
